The term "Construction's Fatal Four" refers to the four leading causes of fatalities in the construction industry. These four hazards account for a significant portion of fatal accidents that occur on construction sites.
The Construction's Fatal Four are as follows:
Falls: Falls are the leading cause of fatalities in the construction industry. They often occur from elevated surfaces such as roofs, scaffolding, ladders, or other unstable platforms. Fall hazard training can be found here.
Struck by Object: This refers to accidents where workers are struck by a moving object or equipment. Struck-by training can be found here.
