Developing Talent: Identifying Skill Development Opportunities

This Activity would complement any of our courses related to career development.

This Activity includes a short instructional video to introduce the topic and discuss what must be done to implement the activity. You can follow the step-by-step instructions in the Implementation Guide to easily take action on the job in order to build this skill. Within the Implementation Guide is a self-assessment for you to evaluate your results. Some activities include Microsoft Word job aid documents to help you perform the action steps.

This Activity will help you achieve the following objective: Identify skill development opportunities for yourself and/or your employees.

This action is made for individuals and is designed to build your skills and capabilities. As an individual working for a company, you will perform this action on your own. By performing this action you will learn how to identify skill development opportunities for yourself and/or your employees. You will determine what skills you should focus on building, and identify skill development opportunities.

Completing the Activity on the job should take you 2 to 3 hours.
