Overview

A powered industrial truck and a busy workspace full of people can have a potential for danger, but not if the workers are properly trained. Powered industrial trucks (PITs), or forklifts, are often used in shared workspaces, which is why it is important to learn safety measures within the workplace when these trucks are present.

This training offers employees best practices to make the workplace safe when working with or around machinery. Awareness is one of the most important factors when working around PITs or other similar equipment. The course explains how traffic patterns and safety measures should be followed like obeying traffic on a street. Blind spots exist with industrial trucks too and are important to learn and be reminded how to navigate. This course helps employees learn how to safety work when in close proximity to forklifts.

Overall, the training gives tips and training on how to remain safe while working near PITs.
