Overview

Whether it’s for an individual or team project, Microsoft Outlook 2016 has an interactive task feature allowing users to create and view tasks, set due dates, assign tasks, and other useful tools. This training video shows how to manage tasks in Microsoft Outlook 2016.

Viewers are shown how to create a new task using a task form where information about the task can be entered. The form allows the user to name the task, set up start and due dates, and set the priority such as low, normal, or high. Setting reminders help to keep projects on track.

Once created, tasks are stored in the My Tasks list in the folder pane. The course shows how to update the progress of a task, and how to enter notes such as time spent on a task, mileage, and billing information. Viewers also learn how to assign as well as receive tasks.

Watch this training video to learn how to use the Task feature in Microsoft Outlook 2016.
