Have you ever had back pain? It is one of the most common injuries. Back pain is common and causes a lot of missed work but doesn’t have to.
This training teaches medical personnel about the parts of the back to help understand why there are injuries in different parts of the back. For example, chronic Back pain is often from a disc rupturing and often in the lumbar region and sometimes in other regions of the back. There are preventative measures one can take so this does not happen as often. One important factor is posture and neutral position. This course presents some tips on how to keep posture good when working on your feet or even sitting at work. Don’t sit or stand in one position too long either. All this advice helps people learn how to not put pressure on their back. Lifting properly is also important in making sure your vertebrae are supported and too much strain is not put on them. There are many other aspects of safe lifting covered in this training.
Use this course to help ensure medical personnel practice safe lifting and prevent back injuries.
