Are you worried about how fast multimedia computers and communications are advancing and how it might affect your investment in courseware and training administration systems? Well stop worrying!
Technology exchanges and "tired title" course trade-ins are a standard policy with Mastery. Exchanging courses for versions of the same title running on other hardware platforms or exchanging a Mastery title with another title covering the same topic are a standard benefit of being a valued Mastery customer.
Here's how you're protected
As you integrate new (or simply different) computer technologies into your training delivery strategy, or become tired of a Mastery title covering a topic for which Mastery offers alternative titles, you don't have to re-purchase courseware. You can exchange your Mastery Courses for other versions of the same title or topic and receive a trade-in credit up to 50%. The credit is the lesser of 50% of the cost of the new title or 50% of your original cost of the title you're trading in.
Here's an example
Our current customers were protected when MPEG-based CD-ROM versions became available. Many of our videodisc customers were attracted to the new CD-ROM technology. Original pricing on videodisc courses ranged from $995 to $1,995. Most of our new CD-ROM based courses are only $695. Here's how our customers painlessly updated their technology:
