Overview

This OSHA-developed training provides safety information for construction workers at sites where stairs and/or ladders may be in use. The OSHA rules apply to all stairways and ladders used in construction, alteration, repair (including painting and decorating), and demolition of work sites covered by OSHA's construction safety and health standards.

The training specifies when stairways and ladders must be provided. Construction employees will learn about safety guidlines and requirements; as well as safe practices for stairways and ladders used at a construction site.
